Country encompasses one-third of Country Western Australia Australia’s land area. Its half million people Population: 519,016 represent only 2.7 % of Australia’s and 27 % of the State’s population. Basically, country WA is very vast, with a very dispersed and unique population.

COUNTRY REGIONS

Country Western Australia is used to describe nine regions: Kimberley, , , Midwest, Wheatbelt, Goldfields, Great Southern, and SouthWest. There is great diversity between the nine regions, with variety between their individual economic, social and environmental challenges and opportunities - no two regions are the same.
