Theater Princeton Summer Theater presents Deathtrap. When an out-of-favor playwright gets his hands on his student's brilliant new script, "Deathtrap," he'll do anything - even kill - to secure one last hit play. Filled with shocking twists and cutting humor, Deathtrap is an electrifying night at the theater. Tickets required. July 4-7 , 11-14 and 17-21; times vary; Hamilton Murray Theater.

The season continues with A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mayhem ensues when human and fairy love triangles collide in a world in environmental crisis. This hilarious and musical reinvention of one of Shakespeare's best-loved plays asks how we fall in, chase after, and dream about love when there may not be a tomorrow. Featuring marionette puppets, magic, and mayhem, this is Midsummer madness as you've never seen it before! Tickets required. July 25-28 and July 31- August 4; times vary; Hamilton Murray Theater.

Podcast The Princeton University podcast, "She Roars" celebrates women on, from and around the Princeton campus who are having extraordinary impact in their communities, the nation, and beyond. The latest episode features online journalist Maria Ressa, Class of 1986. She discusses the existential threat facing free speech, journalism, and democracy around the world.

Princeton Summer Theater presents its annual children's show, Puck's Midsummer Mischief. In this light-hearted companion piece to A Midsummer Night's Dream, the king and queen of the fairies go on their honeymoon and Registration Form leave their trickster friend Puck in charge of the forest. But Puck has a few tricks up his sleeve, and when a few unwitting mortals stumble , things may never be the same. Music Princeton University holds its annual Summer Carillon Concert Series. The concerts take place on Sundays at 1 pm. The Carillon is a musical instrument of 23 or more bells that when sounded produce music. Carillon bells are hung stationary with only the clapper moving against the lip of the bell. It is manually played from a console with both fists and feet activating batons and pedals attached to the clappers through mechanical linkage. There is no electronic assistance to ring the bells. Concerts are held rain or shine. Sundays; July 7-September 4; 1 pm: Graduate School, 88 College Road West.

Princeton University Summer Chamber Concerts presents New York Arts Brass Trio. The program includes originals and arrangements for trumpet, horn, and trombone. Tickets are free, reservations are required. Tuesday, July 2; 7:30 pm: Alexander Hall, Richardson Auditorium.

The Summer Chamber Concerts series concludes with Rolston String Quartet. The group will play pieces by Haydn, Ligeti, and Beethoven. Tickets are free, reservations are required. Friday, July 12; 7:30 pm: Alexander Hall, Richardson Auditorium.

Art Princeton University Art Museum

Miracles on the Border: Retablos of Mexican Migrants to the United States. This exhibition presents more than 50 Mexican retablos, folk paintings dedicated to Christ, the Virgin Mary, or saints to commemorate a miraculous event. Vibrant and emotive, they span the entirety of the 20th century, serving as both historical documents and as public expressions of suffering, salvation, faith and family. The retablos on view were offered by Mexican migrants at churches and pilgrimage sites in western Mexico and the United States to record the difficulties of crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. They eloquently relate subjects of greatest concern to the migrants, from the difficulty of finding work or falling sick in a foreign land to the relief of returning home. Through, July 7.

The Art Museum's Summer Film Series continues with Desperately Seeking Susan. A bored suburban housewife, seeking escape from her life, suffers amnesia after an accident, wakes up, and is mistaken for a free-spirited New York City drifter named Susan. Starring Madonna and Rosanna Arquette. In the event of rain, films will be shown at 8 p.m. in 101 McCormick Hall. Thursday, July 18; sundown; Brown/Dod Quad.

The Art Museum hosts its annual on the Lawn. The event features barbecue fare, live music, exhibition tours, and family-friendly activities. Stay until sunset for the last of the museum's summer film screenings, Moonstruck. Be sure to bring a blanket or chair. Thursday, August 1; 6 pm; Brown/Dod Quad.

Art for Families Take an Artful Adventure around the world and through the ages. This series of self-guided tours and activities is available for families at all times. Pick up your Passport to Adventure at the Museum information desk and choose from our many Artful Adventures activity guides. Once you complete your adventure, visit the information desk to collect a sticker for your passport.

Science Princeton Plasma Physics Labratory offers free public tours led by an engineer or physicist on the first and third Friday of most months at 10 a.m., at 100 Stellarator Road, Princeton, New Jersey.
