Cross of Light Temple 2003 – 2017
CROSS OF LIGHT TEMPLE 2003 – 2017 τί γὰρ ὠφελήσει ἄνθρωπον ἐὰν κερδήσῃ τὸν κόσμον ὅλον καὶ ζημιωθῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ CROSS OF LIGHT TEMPLE [email protected] CROSS OF LIGHT TEMPLE POSITION STATEMENT 1. Everything is grounded in the immediate experience of now. We are here and not elsewhere, and we act from where we are. The immediate experience of now reasserts itself as reality no matter how often it is denied. 2. There is no secret wisdom. Everything is provisional. Nothing is certain. There are no reliable authorities. All systems are arbitrary and only acquire meaning if their constituent elements are accepted as if they were true. All supposedly valid systems can be invalidated by the simple expedient of refusing their premises. 3. What people tell me I am is a fiction. I am beyond any definition given by the other. I am beyond any definition given by myself. I am beyond what I'm told I am. I begin nowhere. I end nowhere. I occupy a space between beginning and end, which is constant but seems to change. The mortal and corruptible body is absolutely linked to any notion of super sensible being with which it is associated. We have the necessary resources within us and we do not need instruction from elsewhere. 4. Form is a treatment of unfettered imagination. The limited is a manifestation of the limitless. Limitless being exists in the context of finite being; the endless is known by that which knows a beginning and end. The end is in the beginning and the beginning is in the end. -

“Message from Thee Temple”: Magick, Occultism, Mysticism, and Psychic TV
“Message From Thee Temple”: Magick, Occultism, Mysticism, and Psychic TV. Mike Dines and Matt Grimes A reality that cannot face itself becoums an illusion. Cannot be real. We must reject totally the concept and use of faith, that sham. We must emasculate religion. The “universe of magick” is within the mind of mankind. The setting is but illusion even to the thinker. The Temple is committed to building a modern network where people are given back pride in themselves, where destruction becoums a laughable absurdity to a brain aware of its infinite and immeasurable potential.1 Thee Temple strives to end personal laziness and engender discipline. To focus the Will on one’s true desires, in the belief, gathered from experience, that this maximizes and makes happen all those things that one wants in every area of Life.2 Writing in The Psychick Bible (2006) Genesis P-Orridge notes how ‘Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth has been convened in order to act as a catalyst and focus for the Individual (sic) development of all those who wish to reach inwards and strike out. Maybe you are one of these,’ he continues, ‘already feeling different, dissatisfied, separate from the mass around you, instinctive and alert? You are already one of us.’3 Founded after the disbanding of Throbbing Gristle (seen by many as the founding fathers of the industrial music genre4), Psychic TV was formed in 1981 by the performance artist Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, musician and video director Peter “Sleazy” Christopherson, and musician/producer Alex Fergusson. Over a period of more than thirty years, Psychic TV have produced a vast oeuvre of mixed media work including recordings, moving image, art installations and literature. -

Sábado 17 De Mayo. Atrio Del Museo Soi Song (LIVE!) + Sergei Petrov

The first album, “FORCE THE HAND OF CHANCE” by PSYCHIC TV was released on Warner Brothers. It was Genesis’ first music/multimedia project after s/he quit Throbbing Gristle in 1981. The song “Terminus” is a narrative written by Breyer P-Orridge that explores the emo- tional and Astorical resonance of the word “terminus” in relation to negative human behaviours. A visit to Auschwitz Concentration Camp triggered this meditation. The railroad lines to the camp ended at a fake “terminus” complete with Hollywood style facade to create an illusion of relative normality upon arrival. Of course there was a “terminal” aspect to this that comes as a revelation after the initial illusion. Woven into this exploration of the fuzzy border between reality and illusion is a subtext of voluntary “termination” represented by the universal every person, in this case the ambiguous “boy”. This second layer enquires into the, again, blurred, boundary between voluntary submission and involuntary exploitation. Here the “boy” experiences ecstatic sexual pleasure through immersion in purely visceral sensation and irrepressible irresponsibility. -
Zero Kama, Nekrophile Rekords and the Occult Underground of the Postindustrial Era
Zero Kama, Nekrophile Rekords and the Occult Underground of the Postindustrial Era Lecture at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna 30 .4. 2015 In 1983 Zoe DeWitt founded the cassette label Nekrophile Rekords, on which during the following years in a marginal number of releases recordings the most important protagonists of the industrial subgenre ‘ritual’ or ‘ritual industrial’ were published. Besides blueprints for the music of Psychic TV by Genesis P- Orridge and Stan Bingo, the first releases by Coil (John Balance and Peter Christopherson) these included also Zoe’s own projects Korpses Katatonik and particularly Zero Kama, whose album ‘The Secret Eye of L.A.Y.L.A.H.’ – recorded exclusively with instruments made from human bones and skulls – is regarded as one of the key albums of this genre. Zoe will talk in this lecture about her own activities within the underground of industrial music in the 1980s, present audio examples and hitherto unpublished foto material, as well as shed some light on the involved theoretical and occult implications of this musical subculture. Hello and welcome everybody! I’m Zoe DeWitt and I will talk in this lecture about two music projects I did in the 1980s, which were Zero Kama and the previous project Korpses Katatonik, and I will also talk about the cassette label Nekrophile Rekords on which these projects were originally published. Especially Zero Kama’s album The Secret Eye of L.A.Y.L.A.H. is - besides some other recordings by SPK and Current 93 - commonly regarded as a key album for the genre ‘ritual’ or ‘ritual industrial’, and it is this subgenre of Industrial or better to say Post-Industrial that most recordings on Nekrophile Rekords could be attributed to. -
