Disney+ Gifts Viewers With 'Lego Star Wars Holiday Special' 11.05.2020 All the denizens of the Star Wars universe-past and present-come together in Lego form for Disney+'s Lego Star Wars Holiday Special, streaming on Nov. 17. The special picks up immediately after the events of "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," with Rey leaving her friends to prepare for the galactic holiday of Life Day. She takes BB-8 with her as she sets off to gain deeper knowledge of the Force. While she is visiting a mysterious Jedi Temple (aren't they all?), she discovers an ancient key that hurls her into the past and allows her to take part in beloved moments in Star Wars cinematic history, coming into contact with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan and other heroes and villains from all nine Skywalker films. Will she make it back in time for the Life Day feast and learn the true meaning of holiday spirit? The animated special stars Kelly Marie Tran, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, Matt Lanter, Tom Kane, James Arnold Taylor and Dee Bradley Baker. The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special is a production of Atomic Cartoons, the Lego Group, and Lucasfilm. It is directed by Ken Cunningham and written by David Shayne, who is also co-executive producer. James Waugh, Josh Rimes, Jason Cosler, Jacqui Lopez, Jill Wilfert and Keith Malone are executive producers. Key art for Disney+'s 'Lego Star Wars Holiday Special'.
