Dear Resident, On Thursday 6th May you will have the opportunity to vote for your choice of a County Councillor to represent you in the Division. Since you elected me in 2017, I have dealt with a wide variety of issues including flooding, libraries, broadband, highways, lobbied for additional school funding, regularly attended seven different Councils, and engaged actively with all residents. If re-elected, I want to build on the strong foundations already laid. Complete the Superfast Broadband rollout, continue our Highways investment programme into our roads and pavements, transform public transport and connectivity to rail, keep council tax as low as possible and take advantage of the opportunity to further invest into our countryside and Public Rights of Way. On arrival at County Hall in 2017 I was delighted to be appointed to the Cabinet with responsibility for Transformation and Commissioning. This role has allowed me to extract investment into key projects within our area. Following re-election to District Council in 2019 for Belbroughton and Romsley, I was honoured to be elected as Leader of Council. With the additional support I receive from a Conservative District, County and National administrations along with the continued support of our local MP Sajid Javid, I have the power to deliver for you the residents of Clent Hills.
