Columbia River Life Jacket Loaner Board Locations Portland District, US Army Corps of Engineers Bonneville Lock & Dam / Lake Bonneville Hamilton Island boat ramp located approx. 1 mile west of Bonneville Bonneville Lock and Hamilton Island Boat Lock and Dam, 1 mile east of town Dam, Washington Shore Ramp of North Bonneville on Washington State Route 14. Turn onto the Dam Managing Agency – Access Road towards the river, USACE travel approx ¾ mile to left at boat ramp signed intersection. Loaner board is on the eastern end of the lot. Hood River Waterfront Day Use Area Hood River Waterfront Park is located at exit 63 (Hood River/City Park Center) off of Interstate 84, Managing Agency – approximately 20 miles West of the City of The Dalles. At exit 63 turn Port of Hood River North toward the river and East on Portway Avenue. Loaner board is located at the swim beach. Mayer State Park is located at exit 76 off of Interstate 84 Mayer State Park Boat Ramp approximately 10 miles West of the Managing Agency – City of The Dalles. Turn North toward the river and then West Oregon State Parks (left) to get to the boat ramp. Loaner board is located at the boat ramp. The Dalles Lock & Dam/Lake Celilo From Interstate 84 take exit 86 The Dalles Marina Boat Ramp toward City Center/The Dalles and turn North toward the river. Managing Agency – Marina will be on the left and Port of The Dalles the loaner board is located at the boat ramp. From Interstate 84 take exit 86 The Dalles Riverfront Day Use Area toward City Center/The Dalles and turn North toward the river. Park Park will be on the right and the Managing Agency – loaner board is located just East North Wasco County of the Kayak Shack near the swim beach. Parks and Recreation From the City of The Dalles it is Columbia Hills State Park Boat Ramp approximately 5 miles Northeast and one mile east of the Managing Agency – intersection of Hwy 97 and Hwy-14 Washington State Parks (Lewis and Clark Hwy) at mile marker 85. Loaner board is located at the boat ramp. From Interstate 84 take exit 97 and Celilo Park Boat Ramp turn North toward the river. Make a left into Celilo Park and the loaner Managing Agency – board will be at the Western end of USACE the park at the boat ramp. Heritage Landing is approximately 17 miles East from the City of The Heritage Landing Boat Ramp Dalles. From Interstate 84 take exit Managing Agency – 97 and turn South. At the stop sign turn East (left) onto old highway OR- Oregon State Parks 206 E/Celilo-Wasco Hwy. Continue approximately 3 miles and turn North onto Old Moody Road/CO Hwy 143. Loaner board is located at the boat ramp. From Interstate 84, take exit 104 Maryhill State Park and cross the Biggs Bridge at Boat Ramp / Swim Beach Highway 97. Traveling North into Managing Agency – Washington, turn right at the Washington State Parks entrance sign just past Maryhill Fruit Stand. From Highway 14 in Washington, turn South onto Highway 97 and the entrance sign will be on your left just before Maryhill Fruit Stand. Loaner board is located at the Eastern end of the park at the boat ramp. John Day Lock & Dam / Lake Umatilla Columbia River Mile 290, North Swim Beach River Bank. In Plymouth, Plymouth Park Washington, 1.2 miles west of Managing Agency – Umatilla Bridge. Loaner Boards in day use area swim beach and USACE Boat Ramp at boat ramp. Park located off Exit 114, Swim Beach Interstate 84, at confluence of LePage Park John Day and Columbia Rivers, Managing Agency – south bank of river; 5 miles from Rufus, Ore. and John Day Dam. USACE Boat Ramp Loaner boards located next to the boat ramp and at swim beach. .
