DRESS CODE AND ETIQUETTE GUIDELINES The Montour Heights Country Club Dress Code and Etiquette Guidelines apply to all members, their families and guests, including children. The purpose of the Dress Code and Etiquette Guidelines is to ensure that proper respect is shown to all of our members, their families and guests while using the Club. If there are any questions, please contact the Golf Professional. CLUBHOUSE AND CLUB GROUNDS: • Hats, caps or visors are not to be worn in the following areas: Member’s Lounge, Dining Room, Ballroom or Banquet Rooms, including hallways associated with these areas. • Hats, when worn elsewhere, are to be worn in the traditional manner. • Sweatpants, sweatshirts or other related work-out type clothing are not permitted in the Clubhouse in any area. • Dress slacks, dress shorts (Bermuda length) and business casual wear are recommended for all dining areas. • Shirts must be tucked in at all times regardless of age. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times, except in the pool area. • Pool attire is not permitted. T-shirts and tank tops are not appropriate and are not permitted. GRILL ROOM AND GRANDE TERRACE: • General appearance should remain neat and subdued dressy casual, golf or tennis attire. • Pool attire is not permitted. MAIN DINING ROOM: Prior to 5:30 pm: • Slacks, dressy shorts and shirts with collars or mock-collared shirts are required for men. After 5:30 pm: • Slacks, dressy shorts or evening wear are required for women. • Hats, caps and visors are not permitted. Business Professional Dress Code The way you dress can play a big role in your professional career. Part of the culture of a company is the dress code of its employees. Some companies prefer a business casual approach, while other companies require a business professional dress code. BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL ATTIRE FOR MEN Men should wear business suits if possible; however, blazers can be worn with dress slacks or nice khaki pants. Wearing a tie is a requirement for men in a business professional dress code. Sweaters worn with a shirt and tie are an option as well. BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL ATTIRE FOR WOMEN Women should wear business suits or skirt-and-blouse combinations. Women adhering to the business professional dress code can wear slacks, shirts and other formal combinations. Women dressing for a business professional dress code should try to be conservative. Revealing clothing should be avoided, and body art should be covered. Jewelry should be conservative and tasteful. COLORS AND FOOTWEAR When choosing color schemes for your business professional wardrobe, it's advisable to stay conservative. Wear "power" colors such as black, navy, dark gray and earth tones. Avoid bright colors that attract attention. Men should wear dark‐colored dress shoes. Women can wear heels or flats. Women should avoid open‐toe shoes and strapless shoes that expose the heel of the foot. GOOD HYGIENE Always practice good hygiene. For men adhering to a business professional dress code, this means good grooming habits. Facial hair should be either shaved off or well groomed. Clothing should be neat and always pressed. -

But the Southeast Asian island nation of Indonesia, despite an abundance photography of other varieties of fashion blogs and a population with some of the highest percent- blogs ages of social media use in the world, remains decidedly off the street style map. This fashion photo essay seeks both to understand why and to begin filling in that gap. Through full-colour and black and white photographs taken by the author on a recent trip to Indonesia, along with reflections and thoughts inspired by the photographs, it inves- tigates the vibrant and idiosyncratic expressions of style happening in Indonesia today. But it also questions the very qualification of these images as ‘street style 1. All photographs by photographs.’ Does street style have to happen on ‘the streets’, this essay asks, to be Brent Luvaas. street style? For if so, Indonesia’s urban model seems to preclude participation. And does ‘cool,’ that occult quality ascribed to the subjects of street style photographs, translate to an Indonesian context? This essay both adheres to, and calls into ques- tion, the conventions of street style photography to document the myriad meanings of ‘style’ and ‘street’ in contemporary Indonesia. -

POLICY: Every employee represents Gold Coast Health Plan in the eyes of our Board, our members and the community-at-large. It is the policy of GCHP that employees are required to present a clean, neat, professional business appearance at all times when employees are in the workplace or representing GCHP outside of the workplace. Our dress code is based on several factors. GCHP is a professional organization that is responsible for health care access for thousands of people. Our dress code reflects our culture of professionalism, and our respect for our mission and our fiscal responsibilities. Our actions speak loudest, but our appearance communicates as well to community leaders, providers, members and other visitors to our work place. Our standard continues to be "Business Casual”. Many examples of acceptable clothing and footwear are provided in this policy, since they are often requested by staff and help to clarify our standard. DEFINITIONS: All employees are required to adhere to these standards as part of the requirements of their employment with GCHP. Purpose As a City employee, you represent the City and your department when you are on duty and/or when you are in a City uniform. Dress and personal grooming communicates a professional image to our citizens, potential employees, and community visitors and helps to instill confidence in our ability to provide a high standard of quality services. Therefore, you are expected to be neat and clean and to dress for work according to generally accepted business and professional standards as dictated by your work assignment and as depicted in this policy. The City’s overall goal in this policy is to ensure maximum flexibility to maintain good morale, respect individual style, and give due consideration to sound business practice. Therefore, the guidelines in this policy serve as a tool to help you gauge what may or may not be considered appropriate. Whether you walk your dog, head out with your family for a day hike, or have taken on the challenge to become a Thousand-Miler, the Ice Age National Scenic Trail provides a chance for quiet recreation while following the glacial history of Wisconsin. During the past year, a record number of people discovered the Ice Age Trail, and the Alliance membership has grown to over 4,500 strong. I’m excited to welcome all our new members. 2020 was an excellent year for land acquisition, thanks to the many who contributed to our land protection efforts. It was also the year where despite COVID-19 limitations, 1,499 volunteers donated 53,297 hours as dedicated caretakers of our wonderful Trail. While some of our efforts understandably shifted during the pandemic, we continued to maintain our high standards of providing a top-notch Trail experience for all. In 2021, I invite you to join one of the small-scale Trailbuilding and Stewardship Reconnect projects available through your chapter or one of the large-scale events scheduled later this summer. -

Press Release African-Print Fashion Now! A Story of Taste, Globalization and Style March 26–July 30, 2017 Organized by the Fowler Museum at UCLA, African-Print Fashion Now! A Story of Taste, Globalization, and Style, introduces audiences to the dynamic traditions of African dress featuring colorful, boldly patterned printed cloth. The exhibition highlights the interplay between regional preferences and cosmopolitanism that has long flourished on the continent, while highlighting the expansiveness of 21st-century African-print fashion. The works featured throughout the exhibition demonstrate the vital role that African-print has played in the expression of beauty, fashion, and heritage, while creating transcultural connections across Africa and into the larger world. The exhibition is organized into four distinct sections: “It All Starts with Cloth,” “Portraits in Print,” “Regional Styles, Fashion Preferences,” and “New Directions.” Collectively, the installation includes sixty tailored fashions, one hundred archival and contemporary cloths, twenty black-and-white studio portrait photographs from the 1960s and 1970s, a series of runway videos, and seven works by contemporary visual artists. Ensembles on view draw from the Fowler’s collections, private loans, and the extensive archives of the Dutch textile manufacturing company Vlisco. Several themes weave their way throughout the exhibition, mimicking the cyclical nature of fashion trends and the ripple effects of politics and technology on the formation of identity. One theme is consumer agency, both in determining designs and patterns through purchasing power and by commissioning unique ensembles from seamstresses and tailors. Another theme is the theatrical power of fashion, and its ability to express individualism or collective solidarity, whether in a family portrait or Women’s Day Marches in communities across the continent. -

Ultimately, the goal is to compare the anatomy of a streetwear brand to that of a luxury fashion brand and analyze the main differences and similarities between the two in order to understand how a streetwear brand, Supreme, operates in its niche market. By using a case study approach, this study plans on analyzing the newfound reality of streetwear, the reasons for its unprecedented consumption and what the biggest brands in this industry do in order to appeal, constantly, to different crowds: the devoted followers and the fashion-driven consumers. With this in mind, the study intends to validate the relevancy of these streetwear labels in today’s luxury fashion markets. Findings: The aspirational consumer of today’s streetwear will be the aspirational consumer of the eventual luxury market of tomorrow. I understand that there is still a lot to be studied within this streetwear industry but believe to have validated the importance of these brands in the purchasing intention of today’s consumers, by deconstructing the brands. Three important levels of analysis cement my study.
