DySPHD shared that SPHD has received a letter from RSG expressing concern on the possible surge of vector-borne diseases during the rainy season and to increase collaborative efforts for prevention and control particularly in the townships of Sittwe, , , Kyaukphyu, , , and Mrauk-U (in villages and IDP camps). 2.5. Dr San Kyawt Khine from the State VBDC team further shared the following: 2.5.1. Dengue cases were observed since January 2017 with notable increase in April 2.5.2.
