The Borough Council had previously intended to have a separate, specific consultation on any land planned to be removed from the green belt around the city to accommodate some of its future development needs. The Council says there is no move away from the commitment to consultation on this aspect but the new timetable will simply mean this will take place as part of the formal consultation on the entire draft plan.
