Club of FOURTH EDITION, RY 2020/2021 A Publication of The Rotary Club of Muyenga President’s Message

Enhancing Member Engagement by Reaching Out MUYENGA REPORTER To our People It’s been another tough week here at Rotary Club of Muyenga as we stood with our own Rtn. Pius Okong to mourn the demise of his son Daniel Alem Okong. Daniel passed on in June and it’s been a long wait of 40days before the body could be returned home from UAE, a matter that has had a major toll on the family. The members of Rotary Club of Muyenga were saddened by the news and condole with Rtn. Pius, Ann Euzebia and family. We pray to the almighty God to strengthen and comfort the family through this difficult time. May Daniel’s soul rest in eternal peace.

In the same vein, i would like to extend my hearty appreciation to all the members of Rotary club of Muyenga for the family spirit demonstrated by comforting and praying with the family over the 40days, attending the mass at home in , making financial contributions and in a special way attending the burial in Amuria district. May you all be blessed for the great acts of kindness!

Last fellowship we were honoured to Host PDG Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa who addressed the club on the Topic Rotary in Post COVID -19. Thank you PDG Bob for the great insights in the opportunities that lie ahead for Rotary post COVID -19 crisis. The key take away for me was the fact that he encouraged us to focus on reaching out to those members who are not attending the online fellowship and find out why they are not attending. Is it a technology challenge ? Personal challenges? Whatever it is, we can only find out by reaching out. Remember ………..
