By Trina Chamberlain The elders of Parkland In- tegrated Health Centre, and their family members, have been treated to many acts of kindness over the past year. Everything from DQ gift cards from family members and treats from the Dairy Queen to yard beautifica- tion and outdoor parades, to Christmas cards and letters from Wild Rose and WP San- din Public High School, to Se- cret Santa gifts from commu- nity members, just to name a few. The family of Marian Camp- bell continued their yearly Christmas tradition by select- ing a community to make a difference in. This year, they choose Parkland Integrated Health Center - House “C” with money for new frying pans (which come in handy for weekend brunches) and two iPads and stands to help with virtual connections. Then, on Feb. 17, two citi- zens who do not want recogni- tion (and who did not know it was Random Act of Kindness Day) came forth and said they would like to help our elders connect with their families, asking if our elders could use some equipment for family conferences.
