Transportation Public transportation is an easy and convenient way to get around. A single ticket costs 21 DKK; a (blue) tentrip ticket costs 130 DKK. Both can be bought at the airport, at news stands and at metro and railway stations. Validate/clip the tentrip ticket once for one hour’s travel within central Copenhagen, twice to get from the airport to the city centre (a single ticket for that distance costs 31.50 DKK). Between 1.00 AM and 5.00 AM, you will have to pay double price.

From you can reach the city centre in a number of ways: • By train (travel time: 15 minutes): trains stopping at Hovedbanegården (Copenhagen Central Station) and Nørreport Station leave from platform 2: • in the daytime (between 4.44 AM and 11.44 PM): at 04, 14, 24, 34, 44, and 54 min utes past the full hour • in the nighttime: at 12.44, 1.44, 2.44, and 3.44 AM • By metro: line M2 (→ Vanløse ) stopping at e.g. Nørreport and Kongens Stations leaves every 4–7 minutes. The metro runs all day. • By bus: • Line 5A (→ Torv ) stopping at, e.g., Hovedbanegården (Copenhagen Central Station), Rådhuspladsen (City Hall Square) or Nørreport Station • Line 35 (→ Islands Brygge ) takes you directly to the the conference location: get off at Universitetet, Amager • At night, line 96N (→ Farum St. / Slangerup Rutebilsstation ) to e.g. Hovedbane gården (Copenhagen Central Station), Rådhuspladsen (City Hall Square) or Nørre port Station is your only bus option • By taxi: the trip to the city centre costs about 250 DKK

From the city centre to the Faculty of Humanities, you have the following options: • By metro: by far the easiest option. Take line M1 (→ Vestamager ) to Islands Brygge Station (as indicated on the map above). From there, it is 5 minutes’ walk to the cam pus. Going back, catch line M1 again (→ Vanløse )

3 • By bus: get off at Universitetet, Amager . Keep walking straight on for 200 metres to get to the new faculty buildings. This stop is served by the following buses: • Line 12 ( → Femøren St. / Hedegårdsvej ) from e.g. Vesterport Station or Rådhus pladsen (City Hall Square); departures every 30 minutes • Line 33 ( → Søvang / Rønnevej ) from e.g. Rådhuspladsen (City Hall Square); depar tures every 10–15 minutes • Line 35 (→ Islands Brygge ) from e.g. Copenhagen Airport is convenient if you stay at the airport hotel; departures every 2030 minutes
