RUSA BRASS MASTER SCHEDULE 2011 ANNUAL CONFERENCE, NEW ORLEANS, LA The ALA RUSA Business Reference and Services Section (BRASS) exists to represent the subject interests of reference librarians, business information specialists and others engaged in providing business reference/information services. BRASS seeks to serve as a medium for the sharing of information and concerns among interested librarians, publishers and other suppliers of business information sources, and through its programs and projects to help improve the sources and techniques of business reference and information. A WORD FROM THE BRASS CHAIR Dear BRASS Member, I want to give a huge thank you to all the members of BRASS. It is through the hard work and dedication of our members that we have such an active and vibrant Section. And, if you needed any proof of this, check out our program for the upcoming ALA Annual conference in New Orleans, June 24 – 28, 2011. The Publications Committee has created a quick guide of BRASS activities at the Annual Conference. It lists all the BRASS programs, Committee meetings, as well as quick info on the Chairs and Awards. We hope that this will help you plan your conference and keep track of the many offerings and opportunities available through BRASS. We will work to update this as we get any new information.
