(ii) Compliance Report from Regional Office, MoEF&CC (Applicable for projects already having EC). (iii) The KML/Shape files should be emailed to mentioned at para No. 7 below at least 5 days prior to the meeting. (iv) The above all documents are required to be forwarded to the Chairman/Members of the Expert Appraisal Committee along with soft copy. 2 All the documents including the hard copy of the presentation material should be legible and printed on both sides on ordinary paper. In case the members of the Expert Appraisal Committee do not receive the proposals/documents before the meeting, the Committee will not consider the project. 3 The Project Proponent or his or her authorized representative /consultant should avoid delivery of documents by hand and seeking meeting with Chairman/Members. Members are also requested to discourage/ avoid the meeting with the PP/ consultants.

    Granite (Building Stone) Quarry of Ajayyan. P. V at Pulpatta Village, Eranad Taluk & Malappuram District, Kerala. PRE-FEASIBILTY REPORT 1.0 INTRODUCTION OF THE MINING ACTIVITY Ajayyan. P. V is proposing a (Building Stone) Quarry with Permit at Survey No. 151/1 of Pulpatta Village, Eranad Taluk, Malappuram District, Kerala for an area of 0.5996 hectares. The proposed quarry area is hill rock. In most parts of the quarry permit area, the rocks are exposed and also the granite (building stone) exposures are present / bordering to the permit boundary proving the occurrence of the granite (building stone). The highest elevation of the permit area is 100m MSL and lowest is 90m MSL. As the proposed area is hillock, the drainage of the permit area is towards north direction. The geological resources of granite (building stone) in mining permit area are estimated to be 185722MT. The Blocked Reserves and Mineable Reserve of granite (building stone) in mining permit area are estimated to be 68040MT and 117682MT respectively. In the first years of plan period, total 23,530 Tons of granite (building stone) shall be quarried/mined. The balance mineral reserves and part of blocked resources shall be quarried after modifying the bench design in next fi ve year period. Kerala experiences rainfall on duration of 3 to 4 months in a year and the quarry operations will be affected because of the rainy days.     VIMAL MATHA HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL A Beauty Spot of Kadalikad Beginning of an educational institution and its growth is the beginning of cultural and educational development of a society. These words are very correct about Vimala Matha Higher Secondary School, which is situated at Kadalikad in Manjalloor Panchayat and in Muvattupuzha Taluk. It was the great desire and interst of the people of this locality to begin a school at Kadalikad. In those days this locality had very less educational facilities. Therefore, in 1962, Vimala Matha Church Kadalikad submitted an application to the government of Kerala asking permission to begin a school at Kadalikad. In the month of May 1962, with the great effort of the MLA Late Sree C.A Mathew Choorapuzha, the permission from government was obtained to start the school. On 4th June 1962 the first class started in the Varanda of Vimala Matha Church. A small shed with a thatched roof with palm leaves was built on the newly bought land near the church. In 1963 classes began in the new shed. Rev. Fr.Paul Maliyeckal, the Vicar of Vimala Matha Church Kadalikad was the first manager of the school. He found it very difficult to manage the school due to the poor financial condition of the church. Therefore, in 1967 he sold the school to the Adoration Congregation. Late Rev.Sr. Ancy Nedungattu was the first headmistress and she continued for a period of two decades. In 1983, June 15 this U.P school was upgraded as a High School. Sr. Clare Podimattom was the first headmistress.
