Classification: OFFICIAL Notice of a Community Governance Review Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 South Bucks District Council has commenced a Community Governance Review in response to requests from Denham, Farnham Royal and Stoke Poges Parish Councils to review the governance arrangements in their parish areas. Following comments received during the first consultation stage, the following draft recommendations were agreed by the Governance and Electoral Arrangements Committee on 29 October 2018 for consultation: • Denham Parish Council – removal of all Parish Wards • Farnham Royal Parish Council – removal of 1 Parish Ward (by combining Farnham Royal South and Farnham Royal Central) to create a total of 2 Parish Wards • Stoke Poges Parish Council – reduction in Council size from 13 to 11 Parish Councillors The Council is now conducting a second consultation as part of the review process and is inviting residents and other interested stakeholders to submit their views on the above recommendations. The Terms of Reference documents for the review have been published and are available to view on the Council’s website at www.southbucks.gov.uk/cgr2018. The relevant documents can also be viewed at the Council offices at the address below.
