Created by Jim O’Neal, Amy van Singel, Bruce Iglauer, and Paul Garon, Living Blues magazine began publication in Chicago, Illinois in 1970. Copyright Restrictions The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Acquisition Information The University of Mississippi took over publication of Living Blues in 1982. Materials came from former editors Jim O’Neal and Amy van Singel, who helped start the magazine in Chicago in 1970.
Processing Information Lauren Rogers processed the business papers, Greg Johnson and archives staff and students processed the photographs, and technical services staff cataloged the sound recordings, June-July 2013.
