The helpline number will be manned by the officer nominated by the Registrar (IT) for receiving of any complaint, who, in turn, will communicate the same to the Court Master(s) of the concerned Bench. To facilitate lodgement of complaints the Listing Branch shall provide in the cause list, in addition to the helpline number, the mobile number of the court master of the concerned Bench. Furthermore, the cause list will indicate that no grievance will be entertained with regard to connectivity, quality or otherwise, after the video conferencing proceedings are over, save and except, where directions are passed by the concerned Bench to entertain such complaints post conclusion of video conferencing proceedings. On account of outbreak of COVID-19, regular functioning of this court remains suspended and hearing of urgent matters is presently restricted only to videoconferencing. To facilitate assistance to learned counsel for the purposes of joining the hearings through videoconferencing, mobile numbers of the Court Masters of concerned courts have been provided in the Cause List. It has, however, been brought to our notice that several calls, many of these at odd hours, are being made to Court Masters asking them to take on record documents, fresh applications etc or making all kinds of enquiries. Emails are also being sent to the Court Masters after court hours with similar requests. It is directed that henceforth, Court Masters shall be contacted only for the aforesaid limited purpose relating to joining the hearings through videoconferencing. The topic of the Talk was “Product, Process & Application - Cold Rolling Mill, Tata Steel BSL, Sahibabad” At the outset, Shri K K Mehrotra Chairman IIM Delhi Chapter, welcomed the attendees of the Talk. He gave an introductory profile of the Speaker Shri Jitendra Mathur, Head, QA, Tata Steel BSL Ltd. Sahibabad & requested Shri Mathur to start his presentation. To begin with, Shri Mathur gave a historical background of Bhushan Steel from 1987 onwards. In1987 Bhushan Steel acquired Jawahar Metals at Sahibabad, U.P. In 1990-92, this plant got its first 20 Hi Cold Rolling Mill & its first galvanizing line. In 2000-03, second plant of the company started at Khapoli, Maharashtra with narrow & wider Cold Rolling Mills, Tube & Power Plant. From 2004 -2010 an integrated Steel Plant with 5.6 Mt/yr hot metal capacity was installed at Angul, Orissa. In May,2018, Bhushan Steel Limited was acquired by Tata Steel Limited through its wholly owned subsidiary Bamnipal Steel Limited. In November,2018, the name of the company was changed from Bhushan Steel Limited to Tata Steel BSL.
