Fall 2016: Housing and Dining Plan Rates • Housing assignments are based on availability. • Dining plan meals are used for all-you-can-eat meals at any of the residence dining rooms. • If you are assigned a dormitory-style residence, you are required to choose one of the six dining plans. If you do not select a dining plan, you will automatically be assigned to the 14-Plus Plan. • Each meal plan includes ten complementary guest meals per semester. Dining Plans Number of Dining Points Cost Description Meals Unlimited Unlimited $195 per $2,685 Allows unlimited visits during any semester meal period at any residence dining room. 14-Plus Up to 14 meals per $245 per $2,530 Offers a large number of week semester guaranteed meals throughout the year and has a generous allowance of dining points. 9-Plus Up to 9 meals per $415 per $2,530 Offers a large number of week semester guaranteed meals throughout the year and has a generous allowance of dining points. Kosher Plan Up to 11 meals per $265 per $2,530 Allows students to eat in the Hillel week semester Dining Room in Hillel House including Shabbat meals, festive meals, and Passover Seders without paying extra. 330 Plan 165 meals per $305 per $2,530 Offers a complete carryover of semester semester unused meals from week to week. 250 Plan 125 meals per $575 per $2,475 Offers a complete carryover of semester semester unused meals from week to week. Fall 2016 Boston University Housing Arrival Information When will I find out where I will be living? If you complete and submit the online housing application before you arrive in Boston, you’ll be able to get your room assignment through the online portal once it has been confirmed. You will receive an email when your assignment is available online. When can I move-in to by Boston University residence? You can move-in to your dorm on Monday, September 19, 2016, Tuesday September 20, and Wednesday September 21 from 10am-4pm. When do I move-out of my Boston University residence? You must move-out of your dorm by Thursday December 22,2016 by 12pm. What should I do if I arrive in Boston after 4pm or on a weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)? If you arrive after 4pm or on a non-move-in weekend day and you know your residence assignment, go to your residence office (included with your residence assignment in the MyHousing online portal) to pick up your room key. If you do not know your residence assignment when you arrive, you will need to stay in a hotel at your own expenses until BU Housing is open the next business day. BU Housing must process your online application before you can be assigned to on-campus housing and before move-in arrangements can be made. IMPORTANT: This is a binding contract. There are no housing cancellations. By entering your electronic signature (BU ID number) you are confirming that you want to live on-campus in a Boston University dormitory residence. .
