Friday, April 21 11:30am –11:30pm Fan Friday starts at 11:30am when cars hit the racing surface at the World’s Fastest Half Mile during a practice session for Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) Food City 500. Xfinity Series practice begins at 1:00pm, with the Food City 500 qualifying starting at 4:45pm. Food City Family Race Night, a free fan event that features driver autograph sessions, live entertainment and giveaways, starts at 4:00pm inside Bristol’s Hospitality Village and continues until 9:00pm. Dash 4 Cash Heat Racing Bristol Motor Speedway will once again host one of the four NASCAR XFINITY Series Dash 4 Cash events during the April 22 Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300. The Dash 4 Cash program easily fits into the new stage format that NASCAR has announced for its major touring series’ for 2017. The NASCAR XFINITY Series regulars will qualify for the Dash 4 Cash bonus during Stages 1 and 2 (each are 85 laps). The top finishers of each round will battle it out in Stage 3 to be declared the Dash 4 Cash winner and earn a $100,000 prize. If any driver wins two of the four Dash 4 Cash bonuses during the regular season, he/she will be guaranteed a spot in this year’s NASCAR XFINITY Series playoff.

After finishing second behind the now retired Carl Edwards in 2016 Food City 500, Dale Jr. is ready to drive his way into Victory Lane. Dale Jr., who coined the phrase “It’s Bristol Baby”, has been quoted saying that Bristol is his favorite race of the year, and fans cannot wait to see his return to The Last Great Colosseum.

Lawn Party is a FREE interactive area for adult fans that is filled with backyard games that will make you feel right at home.
