THE M180 SOUTH HUMBERSIDE MOTORWAY (BELTOFT-SCUNTHORPE SECTION) AND CONNECTING ROADS SCHEME 1975 (VARIATION) SCHEME 202X

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited proposes to make the following Scheme:

A SCHEME under sections 16, 17 and 19 of the Highways Act 1980 to amend The M180 South Humberside Motorway (Beltoft–Scunthorpe Section) and Connecting Roads Scheme 1975 by the addition of a Further Plan which has the effect of shortening the section of motorway formerly known as “the Brumby Common Link”, and subsequently renumbered The M181 Motorway, by removing the motorway status of this length of road between the southern junction of the proposed new roundabout at Brumby Common Lane to its junction with the A18 Frodingham Grange Roundabout, a distance of 1424 metres.

COPIES of the draft Scheme and the plan referred to in it may be inspected free of charge at all reasonable hours from Thursday 10 December 2020 until Friday 22 January 2021 at the offices of the Highways England, Operations Directorate, 3 South, Lateral, 8 City Walk, Leeds LS11 9AT, and at North Lincolnshire Council, Civic Centre, Ashby Road, Scunthorpe DN16 1AB.

ANY PERSON may object to the making of the Scheme not later than Friday 22 January 2021, or within 6 weeks from the date of first publication of this notice if that period expires later, by writing to Highways England at the above address, quoting the title of this Notice and stating the grounds of objection. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
