The victim aged 25 ran off and dark jeans , black trainers and a balaclava was unhurt. The second suspect was tall , medium build Description of suspect: 5ft 10” , late 30’s , with a wearing a grey Superdry style coar , blue jeans, short beard and wearing a dark hooded top and navy trainers and a balacalava green tracksuit trousers.     The Moral Basis of Family Relationships in the plays of Shakespeare and his Contemporaries: a Study in Renaissance Ideas. A submission for the degree of doctor of philosophy by Stephen David Collins. The Department of History of The University of York. June, 2016. ABSTRACT. Families transact their relationships in a number of ways. Alongside and in tension with the emotional and practical dealings of family life are factors of an essentially moral nature such as loyalty, gratitude, obedience, and altruism. Morality depends on ideas about how one should behave, so that, for example, deciding whether or not to save a brother's life by going to bed with his judge involves an ethical accountancy drawing on ideas of right and wrong. It is such ideas that are the focus of this study. It seeks to recover some of ethical assumptions which were in circulation in early modern England and which inform the plays of the period. A number of plays which dramatise family relationships are analysed from the imagined perspectives of original audiences whose intellectual and moral worlds are explored through specific dramatic situations. Plays are discussed as far as possible in terms of their language and plots, rather than of character, and the study is eclectic in its use of sources, though drawing largely on the extensive didactic and polemical writing on the family surviving from the period. Three aspects of family relationships are discussed: first, the shifting one between parents and children, second, that between siblings, and, third, one version of marriage, that of the remarriage of the bereaved.

David Porth welcomed everyone to the meeting and opened by telling the meeting of the untimely death, on 2nd April 2016, of Sturmer Parish Council Clerk of 23 years, Rachel Mitson. Notes of the 2015 Annual Parish Meeting were read, approved by Barbara Collar, seconded by Diana Garrod and signed. Report from Essex Police Acting Sargeant Caroline Marsay and PCSO Warren part of the Braintree and Uttlesford Community Policing Team addressed the meeting stating that many PCSO’s had been laid off. Vulnerability was their high risk issue, problems were wide ranging including child abuse, hate crime and domestic violence. The team covers a wide area of Essex and liaises with Cambridgeshire and Suffolk forces. Recently they have been involved in arrests for drugs offences and burglaries. PCSO’s job description has altered, they are now more involved in and with the policing team. Questions to the officers:- Q: Which number to use when contacting the police? A: 101 which will transfer you to Essex police. Q: Who to contact if drugs are being used and residents gardens are being used for late night football? A: If resident is vulnerable and being threatened dial 999.
