Wine Tasting (only for adults 18years-old and over) How to get there ● By Car Located approximately 74km south of Brisbane CBD, takes about 1 hour; approximately 58km west of Surfers Paradise, takes about 50 minutes. - From the Gold Coast: Take the Oxenford Exit 57 from the Pacific Motorway (on the left, shortly after Movie World). Take the Tamborine-Oxenford Road and follow the road through Gallery Walk, continue through the roundabout along Long Road, and turn right into Hartley Road. Cedar Creek Estate appears a few hundred metres on your right BEFORE Holt Road. - From Brisbane: Take the Oxenford Exit 57 from the Pacific Motorway and then follow the Gold Coast Directions. Follow the Pacific Highway until you reach the City Road, Beenleigh exit. Follow the signs to Tamborine Mountain which will lead you to Tamborine Village. Follow Main Western Road when you get to the top of the mountain and take a left into Hartley Road. Cedar Creek Estate is on your left approximately 100m up this road AFTER Holt Road. - [Free] Onsite parking available ● By Public Transport Unfortunately there is no direct public transport available. While in the cave, please keep your hands behind the railing and do not touch the glow worms, and place a hand over your nose and mouth when close to the glow worms to avoid tangling their delicate snares. Glow Worm Facts Glow Worms are pretty fascinating animals! With 8 known species across Australia and New Zealand, the one be seen in this Tour will be Arachnocampa flava. Glow Worms are a unique and special part of the ecosystems. Glow worms live in dark, wet environments, preferably caves if they can find them, although on the Gold Coast of Queensland they don't have any caves to live in, so the local species, Arachnocampa flava are usually found beside waterfalls.
