The video clip can be recorded with handphone/camera/video camera. It does not need to be professionally done. 2) Upload the video to Youtube and send the link to [email protected] (with the Subject: Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali Scholarship For Creative Arts & Music / Sunway Music Scholarship Application Video) • For instrument - If you play more than one instrument (e.g piano & violin), submit the video clip for both instruments. • The selected song needs to be on par with your grade level e.g if you are a Grade 8 violinist, please choose a song that is at Grade 8 level. Exam pieces are not advisable. • For vocal - You may submit one song in any language of your choice. It has to be with accompaniment. 3) If shortlisted, scholarship interviews will take place in March & August. During the interview, candidates will be required to perform three 1 1/2 minutes pieces to be sung or performed on any instrument of their choice. 4) Only successful applicants of the scholarship interview will be informed via phone call followed by an e-mail in mid-March or end-July. 5) Applicants that do not pass their scholarship interview will only be notified by e-mail.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA • Malaysian students studying full-time in Sunway University/Sunway College (Kuala Lumpur) who are State or National athletes (3 years prior to joining Sunway University/Sunway College (Kuala Lumpur) – Year 2018). • Only selected sports are eligible for Sports Scholarship, such as archery, athletics (track & field, javelin, long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, discus), badminton, basketball, bowling (tenpin), chess (international), fencing, table tennis, taekwondo (WT), tennis, squash and swimming. Note: If an applicant’s chosen sport is not part of the list of sports for the Sunway Sports Scholarship, it will then fall under the discretion of the Sunway University/Sunway College (Kuala Lumpur) Scholarship Committee to accept the application and/or to grant an interview. • The Sports Scholarship is open to Malaysians only. • Verification by State or National Sports Association. • Recommendation Letter from State/ National coach. • Shortlisted candidates are required to attend an interview session. • Awarding of the scholarship is subject to the interview.
