University of Notre Dame Directions to the campus The University is located just south of the Indiana Toll Road (Interstate 80/90) and just east of Indiana 933. From the Toll Road, use exit 77 (South Bend/Notre Dame) and turn right (south) onto Indiana 933 (Michigan Street). Turn left (east) onto Angela Boulevard (the fourth light), drive about one mile and turn left (north) onto Notre Dame Avenue (the first light). ST. JOSEPH’S DR. I’m originally from Akron, OH, hometown of Lebron James, Goodyear Tires, and a river that caught on fire back in the 60s (charming, isn’t it?). At my time here at ND, I’ve been involved as a member of the Leprechaun Legion Board, a student-run athletic marketing association that aims to generate unforgettable in-game experiences as well as produce some pretty sweet merch. Last summer, I worked on campus as a Mentor-in-Faith for Notre Dame Vision, a summer youth conference that welcomes over 1000 high school students each year to spend a week at ND and explore their faith.

In 1874 Notre Dame’s founder, Rev. Edward Sorin, C.S.C., brought Vatican artist Luigi Gregori to campus. For the next seventeen years, Gregori beautified the school’s interiors––painting scenes on the interior of the Golden Dome and the Columbus murals within the Main Building, as well as creating murals and the Stations of the Cross for the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
