Поред примарне оријен- тисаности на музиколошка и етноузиколошка разматрања, часопис је отворен према различитим сродним или мање сродним дисциплинама (историја, историја уметности и књижевности, етнологија, антропологија, социологија, комуникологија, семиотика, психологија музике итд.) као и према интердисциплинарним подухватима. The journal Musicology is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Institute of Musicology SASA (Belgrade) since 2001. It is dedicated to the research of music as an aesthetical, cultural, historical and social phenomenon. It is primarily focused on musico- logical and ethnomusicological research, but it also favours approaches from diverse sci- entific disciplines (history, history of art and literature, ethnology, anthropology, sociology, comunicology, semiotics, music pshychology etc.) as well as interdisciplinary projects. DOI: 10.2298/MUZ1417011M UDK: 781.7:781.68 Извођачка природа и уметнички текст у етничкој1 музици Игор Мацијевски2 Руски институт за историју уметности (Санкт Петербург) Апстракт Чланак је посвећен феномену уметничког текста и путевима његовог на- стајања у традиционалној етничкој музици. Ревидирани су појмови као што је варијантност, који су се усталили у фолклористици, а чији су извори у европоцентричној представи (која полази од академске писане традиције) о некаквом првобитном тексту, који се затим непрестано мења. Истражујући генеративне (социо-психолошке, функционалне, жанровско-структурне) фак- торе формирања дела етничке музике, аутор види путеве њеног остваривања у скупу предвидљивих и реално остварених конкретних текстова и на основу њих математичком теоријом мноштва изводи интегралну формулу таквог му- зичког дела, како мале тако и велике форме. Кључне речи варирање, вектор преноса / транслације, импровизација, интерпретација, извођење, појмљива, планирана предвидљива, реална остварења, ситуација уметничке комуникације, уметнички текст Етничка музика се током последњих неколико деценија нашла у прилично парадоксалној ситуацији. С једне стране ратови, револуције, идеолошка борба, ре- пресија над носиоцима традиције, урбанизација, стереотипи- зација до милитантне шаблонизације облика масовне културе и медијског преношења, мутација свести са одлучним супрот- стављањем традицији у оквиру саме средине која је изнедрила ту традицију, али која је значајно мутирала

Public Session: Philip Grossman, Esq. representing Coalition against Chinatown BID, is analyzing the financial statements, showing that only 31% of money actually went to cleaning. Calls it a waste of LMDC grant money. Chris Collins. Executive Director of Solar One, is asking for funds from Con Ed Settlement Fund. They have programs in 10 schools. Funding is to expand into CB6. He has worked with CB3, and named several schools. They plan to expand THIS program into CB3. They run a green work force training program that trained 1100 and are planning to train another 1200. James Ryan, Green Design Lab, wrote the proposal for Con Ed Settlement Fund. He teaches at Rutgers. The program is unique because teachers approached Solar One about how to green their schools. Christine Datz‐Romero, Founder of Lower East Side Ecology Center, is here to thank CB3 for support of grant application in to Con Ed Settlement Fund. They are planning a new program, stewardship of street trees, to make sure the trees in the Million Tree Program survive. Amy Landry, Manager of Seward Park Public Library branch, says mid‐year cuts shouldn't affect staffing except for losing Sunday service.
