They also had some other favorite classics such as Robotron: 2084, BurgerTime, Space Invaders, , Dragon’s Lair, Crazy Climber, Popeye, and many others. I also got exposed to some great pinball classics such as Atari’s Middle Earth, Old Chicago, Wipe Out, Super Mario Bros, and some amazingly creative vendors who developed and created their own pinball machines that you could play to your heart’s content and purchase (if you had the room in your truck and didn’t care what your spouse thought!). I took my time playing as much as I could before I ran out of time, then I reached out to Matt Fleitz, one of the co-creators and annual organizers of this event. Here is a portion of our interview:

OSG: What was the impetus for creating the Louisville Arcade Expo?

MATT: This is our eighth year. When we were younger, my brother and I used to go to pinball shows in Chicago and Allentown. Those were the big shows back in the 90’s. Eight for (and can’t imagine!).
