Chairman Helgevold called the regular meeting of the Wright County Board of Supervisors to order at 9:00 a.m. Members present were Rasmussen, Kluss, and Helgevold.

Minutes of the previous regular meeting of 18 and special meeting of , 2021 were read and approved.

Approved claims for payment.

Sandy McGrath with Public Health gave an update on the current COVID Cases. There are now 1,671 cases since . On 1, 2021 they will be moving to the 1B status. The press release will be finished today and start letting public know where the clinics will be opened.

Eric Gjersvik with ISG gave update on Agribusiness Park. Reilley is looking to give a response to the liquidated damages. Would like to look at an in ground junction box for electrical to the flume instead of what was built. ISG did approve the shop drawing that showed something similar to what was put in place. Jetco has responded that there will need to be some changes. Kelly Evans with ISG stated that Beemer is wanting to close out the project. They are looking at the punch list for completion.

Adam Clemons, Wright County Engineer updated the board that they are still working on Bridge #79 but should be done this week. The road crew went out on Sunday for about 2.5 hour to hit spot areas that had ice. There is another job opening in the Secondary Roads department. The two openings are the sign position and motor grader position.

Duane Asbe with the Charitable Foundation gave their annual update. The Charitable Foundation started in 2004 and have contributed $1,221,884.00 towards projects in Wright County with a total cost of projects done of $15,353,438.73. An estimated amount of $81,000 will be granted out in 2021. The total amount invested in the Foundation is over $8 million dollars. Mr. Asbe appreciated the past support and would like continued support of $9,000 funding of their program. Lenea Groom spoke about the Foundation Board and stated that there are some openings on the board.

Courtney Stewart, Wright County Drainage Clerk handed the Engineers Report for DD 194 to the board. Dan Weidmeier with McClure Engineering was present via ZOOM and briefed the board on the tile issue in DD 194 and stated the tile currently only has about ½ foot to 1 foot of coverage. He continued to review the 4 options: 1. Tile Replacement, 2. Twin Pipes, 3. Open Ditch (farm crossings) and 4. Reroute tile northward. Option 1 still leaves minimal amount of coverage, Option 3 includes farm crossings and Option 4 still leaves some areas with 2.5 feet of minimum coverage but the majority with 3 feet of coverage. Option 4 would reroute the tile outside of the current district boundary line. Landowners could petition to annex in their lands. Right of way would need to be obtained to maintain the district asset. Motion by Rick Rasmussen and seconded by Dean Kluss to set a Public Hearing on DD 194 for March 8th, 2021 at 11:30am. Motion carries.

Motion by Rick Rasmussen and seconded by Dean Kluss to receive the DD 194 Engineers Report Lateral 1 Tile Investigation provided by McClure Engineering. Motion carries.

Motion by Rasmussen and seconded by Kluss to adjourn the meeting. Motion carries.
