(ii) One Hundred and Ninety-ninth Report on the Statutory Orders Laid on the Table of the Rajya Sabha during the 225th Session; and (iii) Two Hundredth Report on certain Rules/Regulations examined by the Committee. ———— MOTION FOR ELECTION TO THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON OFFICES OF PROFIT SHRI SALMAN KHURSHEED to move the following Motion:— “That this House concurs in the recommendation of the Lok Sabha that the Rajya Sabha do elect one member of Rajya Sabha, in accordance with the system of proportional representation by means of the single transferable vote, to the Joint Committee on Offices of Profit in the vacancy caused by the retirement of Shri P.R. Rajan from Rajya Sabha and do communicate to that House the name of the member so elected by Rajya Sabha to the Joint Committee.” ———— STATEMENTS BY MINISTERS 1. SHRI SHRIPRAKASH JAISWAL to make a statement regarding Status of implementation of recommendations contained in the Fourth, Eighth, Thirteenth, Sixteenth and Twenty-first Reports of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Coal and Steel (Fifteenth Lok Sabha) pertaining to the Ministry of Coal. 2. SHRI SALMAN KHURSHEED to make a statement regarding Status of implementation of recommendations contained in the Twenty-sixth Report of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Justice and Empowerment (Fifteenth Lok Sabha) on Demands for Grants for the year 2012-13 pertaining to the Ministry of Minority Affairs. 3. PROF. K.V. THOMAS to make a statement regarding Status of implementation of recommendations contained in the Sixteenth and Twenty-first Reports of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution. ———— LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS Bills for consideration and passing The All-India 1. SHRI GHULAM NABI AZAD to move that the Bill further to amend Institute of the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences Act, 1956, as passed by Lok Sabha, Medical Sciences be taken into consideration. (Amendment) ALSO to move that the Bill be passed. Bill, 2012. 141 2. FURTHER CONSIDERATION of the following motion moved by The Whistle Shri V. Narayanasamy on the 29th March, 2012:–– Blowers Protection Bill, “That the Bill to establish a mechanism to receive complaints relating to 2011. disclosure on any allegation of corruption or wilful misuse of power or wilful misuse of discretion against any public servant and to inquire or cause an inquiry into such disclosure and to provide adequate safeguards against victimization of the person making such complaint and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto, as passed by Lok Sabha, be taken into consideration.” SHRI V.
