As we grow and interests change, so do friends; but the memories made with old friends are cherished - never to be lost. Captured here in pictures is 1984-85. The world saw the Challenger shuttle return broken satellites to Earth; Ronald Reagan elected to a second presidential term by the greatest margin ever (beating the first woman vice-presidential candidate) ; the assassination of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, and a disastrous poison gas leak which killed over 2,000 in India ... and in New Deal , Lions laughed, loved and lived with new education laws which brought higher standards and ISS. 4 Friends Friends are friends forever If the Lord's the Lord of them. And friends will not say never 'Cuz the welcome will not end. Though it's hard to let you go In the Father's hands, We know, and a lifetime's not Too long to live as friends. One of the most important parts of growing up is learning to make friends and be a friend to others. Through our friends, we learn loyalty, trust, honesty, and faith. Without friends we have few joys in life and no one to share our happiness or sorrow with. The Roar 1985 is planned with you and your friends in mind. Enjoy your book; have your friends sign it. 5 6 Our football team improved last year's record with 5 and 5. Except for Coach Noland, an entire new coaching staff brought new fire and enthusiasm to New Deal. The basketball teams kept that new fire alive and give us lots of thrills with several overtime games before District play even started. During our spare time, we talked on the phone like teenagers have for many years. During lunch, we sometimes found a quiet place to talk about our deep feel ings. Teachers, too, felt a special closeness at New Deal this year, cooperating together in activities students wanted to do. As the little boys in kindergarten played in a toy car, they dreamed of the day when real cars, girls, dates and " big boy stuff'' were part of friends. 7 8 Styles, Jaime Tannery, Olin Picture Picture Teeter, Shad Not Not Tnomas, Allen R. • Apocalipse Trump: Notas Sobre a Convenção Nacional Do Partido Republicano 2016
Cinco pontos a serem destacados neste primeiro dia.

Donald Trump: Clinton's celebrity backers 'aren't very hot anymore' By Linda Qiu on Thursday, August 25th, 2016 at 6:55 p.m. Donald Trump mocked the size of Hillary Clinton’s crowds and the depth of her support at a packed rally in Tampa. Then he turned on Clinton’s celebrity supporters. "The only people enthusiastic about her campaign are Hollywood celebrities, in many cases celebrities that aren’t very hot anymore," he said. We were interested in his line that Clinton’s celebrity backers are "in many cases celebrities that aren’t very hot anymore." Believe it or not, there actually is data that addresses this question. Ever the dutiful fact-checkers, we dug in. (For the record, the Trump campaign did not respond to our requests for evidence, and though the Clinton campaign did respond, it did not address our particular question.) Clinton celebs still sizzling Clinton has received endorsements from at least 900 celebrities. With that volume, some "aren’t very hot anymore" (consider Laguna Beach’s Lo Bosworth and MC Hammer) But Hollywood royalty is largely on Clinton’s side. Trump specified "Hollywood celebrities," so we won’t count Clinton supporters like radio host Howard Stern or President Barack Obama. And because Trump focused on "enthusiastic" supporters, we’ll also limit our investigation to Hollywood celebrities who have campaigned or raised money for Clinton. With those parameters, we identified about 100 hardcore Tinseltown Clinton fans. The roster includes singers Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Katy Perry and Demi Lovato (the last three of whom performed at the Democratic National Convention); and Oscar winners Meryl Streep, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Leonardo DiCaprio, plus George Clooney (who once defended a fundraiser he held for Clinton with this Half True claim) and Bradley Cooper (whose appearance at the DNC upset some American Sniper fans).
