Mangano, in partnership with Cox Media Group Long Island’s 102.3 WBAB and 106.1 BLI, are offering Long Island families the rare opportunity to explore, sit in and take photos with over 40 unique trucks and vehicles that are usually off limits at the FREE Touch-A-Truck event this Saturday, May 14th, in Eisenhower Park’s Kite Field from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Rain date is Sunday, May 15th.) Get up-close to unique and one-of-a-kind vehicles and big trucks! The “Touch- A- Truck” event, will have vehicles on-site for kids to sit in, climb on, and take photos with trucks that include: Big Rigs, Fire Trucks, Police and Emergency Rescue Trucks, Military Vehicles, Construction Equipment. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations to help us STUFF-A-TRUCK for Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, who provide comfort to families experiencing the pain of having a sick child in local hospital facilities. Items needed include non-perishable food, paper goods and cleaning supplies. A complete list of “Wish List” items is available at rmhlongisland.org/wish-list.
