PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE TABLE (Ref: ROBERTS RULES OF ORDER, NEWLY REVISED) The following table presents basic information on some of the most common actions. The table does not have all possible motions. Privileged Motions are presented as privileged, but if same motion if presented when nothing else is on the floor then motion may be treated as a simple main motion. For example: motions Fix The Time To Which to Adjourn, To Adjourn or Take a Recess are debatable and amendable Motions are listed from highest to lowest in rank. That is, a higher rank motion takes the "floor" from a lower ranked one. The exception is Incidental Motions which have no rank among the group.
