2013 FM ATHLETICS YOUTH FOOTBALL REGISTRATION FM Athletics (701) 212-8775 www.fmathletics.com ++++++++NOTE: New registration deadlines for 2013++++++++ Fargo Athletics, Inc., was formed in 1972 to help promote youth football in the Fargo-Moorhead area. The organization is a non-profit corporation. There were approximately 1500 players involved in the program last year! A limited number of scholarships for the registration fees are available (please send your letter request for a scholarship with the completed registration form).

Games are played on Saturday mornings and some weekday evenings. The 7/8th grade games are usually on weekday evenings. Practices are scheduled by each team’s coach and are held 3-4 days per week after school or evenings (no practices on Wednesday evenings).

WEIGHT LIMITS FOR 2013: NOTE: You must play the interior line if you are 4th Grade (Instructional)- Weight up to 135 lbs at these weights or above (w/out exceeding 5&6 Grade Division - Weight up to 160 lbs weight limit in each division): 4th grade: 101 7th & 8th Grade Division - No weight limit lbs; 5/6 grade: 126 lbs; 7/8 grade: 156 lbs.

Please note weight restrictions for your child’s age group when registering.

Equipment & All players are weighed on the league scale on the day of equipment issue. Weigh in You are allowed only one weigh-in! The Board reserves the right to re-weigh any player at any time during the season. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING The philosophy of FM Athletics is to provide an opportunity for ALL players to play football who might not otherwise have the opportunity. It is the intent of the league to foster sportsmanship, team play, and leadership.

Any verbal or physical abuse of officials, coaches, board members and/or other unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. Reminder that only players, officials & board members are allowed on the fields due to safety issues & insurance concerns.

Each player must either fully participate in the fundraising option by selling a minimum of 10 units of our fundraiser (at $10 per unit) or choose the fundraiser buyout option by adding $100 to the registration fee at time of registration (if registering prior to July 1st; since after July 1st, the buyout option is mandatory). THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL. EACH PLAYER MUST EITHER SELL A MINIMUM OF 10 FUNDRAISER UNITS OR PAY THE $100 buyout fee! Any player who does not sell the minimum 10 units and did not pay the buyout option may not be allowed to play! If less than 10 fundraisers are sold, the player must pay the difference (example - sell 5 units, player owes for 5 units or $50).
