DMB Promo Box set Live Trax Vol. 1 CD (12.8.1998) 2 CD The second night of a two night stand at the Centrum in Worcester, MA. According to crew reports, these were shows that showcased a period of musical growth for the band in which set list standards transcended into virtually new songs. Live Trax Vol. 2 CD (9.12.2004) 2 CD The show took place in the Polo Fields of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA and was a benefit concert for Bay Area Charities. From the moment the band hit the stage, the concert immediately became one of the highlights of Dave Matthews Band's career. Carlos Santana sits in as a special guest for several songs, including the recently written Sugar Will. The 3 CD set also features two additional previously unreleased songs, Joyride and Hello Again. Live Trax Vol. 3 CD (8.27.2000) 3 CD This was the third show in a three-night stand at the Meadows in Hartford, CT, a show that many fans have listed in their top 5 due to the choice set list and the energy with which the songs were played that summer evening. Live Trax Volume 4 CD (4.30.1996) 4 CD Classic Amphitheatre, Richmond, VA was the show that started the Crash tour. In addition to hearing many new songs for the first time, fans in attendance were the first to hear the new sound system which DMB had recently inherited from the Grateful Dead. DAVE MATTHEWS BAND REVEALS TRACK LISTING FOR COME TOMORROW Album Pre-Order Underway At Band’s Online Store For Come Tomorrow, Set For June 8 Release On RCA Records Today, Dave Matthews Band revealed the track listing for its ninth studio album, Come Tomorrow, and announced plans to release the first single, “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin),” on May 10. Come Tomorrow – due out June 8 on RCA Records – is the band’s first studio album since 2012's Away From The World, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. See below for track listing. Hailed by Rolling Stone as an “understated plea for compassion and tolerance,” “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)” is already a fan favorite. The band debuted it live in May 2016. Brandi Carlile harmonizes with Matthews on the shimmering title track, written by Matthews in 2017, which finds hope in our youth and the impact they will have on the world. Working in studios in Seattle, Los Angeles and Charlottesville, Dave Matthews Band chose to record Come Tomorrow with several different producers, including John Alagia, Mark Batson, Rob Cavallo and Rob Evans. Sam Boyd Stadium History Facility History Named after a prominent Las Vegas hotel owner and gaming pioneer, the facility has evolved over the years not only in size (from 15,000 to 32,000 and to 40,000 seats) but in the way it handled event bookings, marketing, and sponsorship opportunities. Sam Boyd Stadium is home to the UNLV Rebel Football team, the Las Vegas Bowl, AMA Supercross Series Finals, the Monster Jam World Finals and the Vegoose music festival. The Grateful Dead played the Sam Boyd Stadium for five consecutive years from 1991 to 1995, all of which have set records for the top grossing and highest attended shows. The band’s final performance in Las Vegas (1995) holds the #1 position, with 125,533 fans attending the concert which grossed over $3.7 million. Other music superstars who performed at the stadium include the Eagles, Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Matthews Band, Beck, Jack Johnson, Tom Petty, The Killers, Metallica, U2, Rage Against The Machine, Daft Punk , and The Roots. The stadium celebrated its 25 th anniversary in the fall of 1996 by hosting the UNLV vs. Wisconsin football game with 41,091 fans attending the event, setting the record for the state's largest attendance at an outdoor sporting event. Beginning in the fall of 1998, the Sam Boyd Stadium underwent a major $17.5 million renovation and expansion project, adding 9,000 seats to the stadium and reconfiguring the current seating capacity to 40,000. The improvements included a new concourse, upgraded and expanded restrooms, upgraded concession stands, a new press box, repaved parking lots, upgraded ADA access, and a new scoring system as well as a new playing surface.
