WISE | [email protected] Mount Pleasant-based Wild Wing Cafe plans to triple its number of restaurants across the Southeast over the next five years, CEO Bill Prather said Thursday. Nearly 16 months after being acquired by private equity firm Axum Capital Partners, bringing on former Hardee’s CEO Prather and assembling other top Wild Wing Cafe has four locations in the officials, the casual dining chain Charleston region, including its plans to grow from 34 longstanding North Market Street restaurants to 100 by 2018. restaurant in the peninsula’s historic district. Stokes formerly worked as chief of digital and social media with Gannett. Wild Wing started on Hilton Head Island in 1990, the brainchild of Cecil and Dianne Crowley.
