WN 21 November 2013 County Council MO 91326 DF THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (A5093 KIRKSANTON LEVEL CROSSING) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF 8 x 2 THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2013 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Centurion Site Services to carry out level crossing works, the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the A5093 Kirksanton for a distance of approximately 20 metres either side of Kirksanton Level Crossing. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and a suitable alternative route for vehicles will be available as follows:- Southeast Bound Vehicles - From the north west side of the closure proceed along the A5093 in a north westerly direction to its junction with the A595 Valley. Turn right onto the A595 and proceed in a north easterly direction to its junction with the A5093 Halthwaites. Turn right onto the A5093 and proceed in a south westerly direction through The Hill and into turning right at the roundabout and proceeding in a north westerly direction to the opposite end of the closure. Northwest Bound Vehicles - Travel in the reverse direction of the above. The Order will come into operation on 25 November 2013 and may continue in force for a period of up to eighteen months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required for 3 days.
