Iain was a much-loved member of the UK ASL scene from his first appearance at INTENSIVE INCOMING 3 FIRE 96. I first played against him at BERSERK 97, when we decided to play a game at midnight, just as everyone else was SAD HEROES 4 winding down – as I was due to play a game in the final the following morning, people were not convinced of the wisdom of THE CRUSADERS OPEN my decision. Thus began a game of ‘Mayhem In Manila’ that ended 4 hours later in victory for Iain and a bloody good laugh for both SEIZING GYULAMAJOR 11 of us. After that there were many good times with Iain, and his passing is a sad loss to the UK ASL community as well as his HOWLIN’ HOUNDS 14 family and friends.
