I think that when a rich variety of activities suddenly ceases we do appreciate how much they are valued and that the cultural and spiritual aspects of one’s life are of immense importance, not to mention the friendship and companionship which naturally go hand in hand. As this is the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the local National Trust we have included in the newsletter reminiscences and reminders of what has been a very successful organisation and has given many members much enjoyment.
