PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT MONTCLAIR FILM’S YEAR-ROUND FILM & EDUCATION PROGRAMS November 14, 2017, MONTCLAIR, NJ— Montclair Film today announced ‘70s MIX- TAPE: A 1970s DANCE PARTY featuring live music from Joe McGinty & the Loser’s Lounge, New York City’s premier interpreters of modern song, with special perfor- mances from Stephen Colbert, Patrick Wilson, Warren Zanes, and other special guests. Performances will range from disco to pop, funk to new wave, celebrating styles that ruled the dancefloors of the 1970s. The event will be designed around the colors of black, white, and gold, to capture the spirit of the era. The event takes place on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 8:00 PM at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ. Proceeds from this special evening will support Montclair Film’s ongoing, year-round film and education programs. Additionally, Montclair Film has partnered with Charitybuzz to offer a once-in-a-life- time experience to join Patrick Wilson and Joe McGinty & The Loser’s Lounge LIVE on stage for a duet, performing in front of an audience of over 1,000 fans. A special VIP Dance Floor Experience ticket at $200 includes a pre-show reception, with complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres throughout the entire event.
