WSU, Opens Pacific-10 Conference Play At Stanford In New Cardinal Stadium

2006 WSU RESULTS The Washington State Cougars, 17-15 winners last Saturday over the Baylor Bears at Qwest Field in Seattle, take their modest two-game win streak to Stanford, where WSU faces the Stanford Cardinal, 0-3, in the Cougars’ Pacific-10 Conference opener. Record: 2-1, 0-0 [OPP REC] WSU rallied in the final minute last Saturday to post the win over Baylor, giving 9/2 @ Auburn (14-40) [3-0] WSU a winning nonconference schedule for the seventh consecutive season. 9/9 Idaho (56-10) [1-2] The Cougars have won four of their last five conference openers and enter the game 9/16 Baylor/Seattle (*17-15) [1-2] with a 2-1 record.
