Our Time Here We were exploring the countryside on our bikes on a beautiful sunny day when we first came across this property, and we fell in love with it straight away. It’s a stereotypical chocolate box cottage in the countryside, with a white picket fence, and we knew that we wanted to live here. It really was a case of being in the right place at the right time.

We love spending chilly evenings in the lounge in front of the log burner. It’s a very warm and cosy kind of house, and the type of place you can’t wait to return home to.

We love the community atmosphere here in Throwley Forstal, being situated right on the village green, it’s a great place for children to enjoy playing together and it feels very safe here. Every year there is a village fete, which everyone gets involved in and all of the neighbours get along well.

There’s plenty to explore in the local area, and we enjoy living in the countryside, while enjoying the accessibility that the location offers. You can catch the train from Charing, Ashford or Faversham, all of which are within a 15 minute drive away.

We’re going to miss the community feel here, you really can’t put a price on good neighbours. The house has been a wonderful home to us for the past 8 years and we have some very special memories of our time here.
