Shoodim$ in the Rain SOUTH EXST by Anne Colenznn The Mount Isa Gun Club held its first night time shoot for this summer on Saturday night. The inclement weather proved tw much and the second event was cancelled. We all sheltered in the club house from the rain and every- one enjoyed a bite to eat. When the rain eased up and once the sun had gone down, event three started. This event was 25 targets double barrel off 15 metres. A grade was won by Ross Walsh 25125, B grade by Adrian Pope with 25125 and C grade by Anne Coleman with 22/25. With the rain gone the cooler conditions made it very comfortable for shooting. Event four was 25 targets Pointscore off 15m. The best lady on this event was Myrtle Anderson with 67175, C grade went to Cherie Eisen from Tennant Creek with a score of 56175, B grade was won by Michael Coleman with 67175 and A grade vent to Dave (Sapphire) Stitt with 74175. Sam Edmonds was drawn to have a go at shwting for the jackpot. It was almost a foregone conclusion that he would win when the metres were drawn because they all seemed to be very close to the trap llouse. Sam may not have been used to shooting the targets from so close because he missed his first target. Better luck next time Sam.
