Always Sometimes you crawl to me alone and afraid Sometimes you call to me with no words to say Sometimes you shout out and you run out And you look back to see if I care Sometimes you tremble in the darkness And you ask me if I’ll always be there

I will be your rock I will be your strength I will be your conscience I will be your faith I will be your smile I will be your tears I will be the shadow behind you that always reminds you Wherever you go I will go I will always be there

Sometimes you rise to highs far beyond my dreams You’ll never realize how you inspire me Sometimes I reach out to help you But you pull back and try on your own

Your passion and courage will carry you with grace But you’re never alone chorus

I can hear you when there’s no one listening I can steer you when your truth is drifting I can hold you when your hope is healing

I can lift you when your love is reeling When life is not fair When you reach for me I’ll find you I will always be there for you Chorus
