Our staff is trained to question the customer and find out what their needs are and make sure they walk out with the right product.” The store’s cooking school also plays a role in customer service, teaching people how to use the equipment they’ve bought or giving them a chance to try out equipment before they buy. “We don’t like to sell a pressure cooker and say, ‘Good luck with that.’ We like to offer a cooking class,” Karen says.
