To fund Lochee street art phase 2 at Aimer Square to build on the positive start to the L2025 Love Lochee Lochee street art project carried out earlier this year. The area is a long dark alleyway and the £5,000 plan is to have a wild and colourful piece of art. To fund street art in the alley way and well used path at Camperdown street with a L2026 Love Lochee Lochee suggested theme to be a window in the life in Lochee, as the wall has archways which £3,652 will look like windows. To fund street art at the Lochee underpass to create a heritage themed piece of art. L2027 Love Lochee Lochee The project will incorporate a mural of stories in collaboration with community £4,664 members and local children from the 2 Lochee schools. To fund the establishment of Scots Language evening classes that help develop fluency Dundee United and confidence in Dundee Scots in both native speakers and newer arrivals to the city. M2027 Maryfield £3,350 Community Trust 10 weeks of evening classes for 20 people, to explore different aspects of the language through literature and mixed media, while encouraging written and creative work. Lifegate & To fund gift Vouchers to be given out for Christmas and January to vulnerable children NE2011 North East £5,000 Partners and families in the North East. To contribute to a hardship fund, set up to support vulnerable residents in North East Angus Housing NE2012 North East who are struggling at present. Vouchers will be given out to individuals or families in £2,000 Association need of groceries or household items. Dundee Partnership Community Regeneration Fund Allocations – December 2020 There are a number of Dundee Partnership Grants awarded in March 2020 for the full year that no longer require the same level of funding due to COVID-19. As the grants had not been paid out the amounts of funding no longer required have been returned to the relevant forums’ available to spent allocations, and any change to from the agreed activity has already been approved by the relevant forum.
