Supposedly there are 2000 exchange tickets available, with an additional 200 standing-room-only tickets. But the student who waits in line for two hours, skipping his morning classes, only to find the last ticket in the hand of the person in front of him , has his doubts and queries as to where the 2200 tickets go.

It's an old argument, but the answers are still evasive and nonspecific. Why can't every UMD student be admitted with his $32 activity card? The students should have priority over the rest of the paying fans; yet, according to ticket allotment, only an estimated one third. of the UMDpopulus is interested in attending games.
