The Atlanta Netball Clubs excitedly welcome all of Netball America, athletes, friends, family and special guests to the Gate City of the South - Atlanta, Georgia, USA! We are excited to be hosƟng the 2013 CallidusCloud U.S. Open Championship; especially as Netball America is celebrating its Įve year anniversary.

It is remarkable how much Netball in Atlanta has grown over the past 2 years in Atlanta thanks to Netball America. Their vision, selfless attitude, hard work and amazing dedication have contributed to this success. The biggest impact Netball America has had on the Atlanta community is the roll-out of the GoGirlGo! Program. This program has helped the underserved communiƟes within the Atlanta region. Also, having Netball recognized on the Ňoor of Philips Arena during a WNBA Atlanta Dream Game and by the NFL Atlanta has also given our clubs a big boost.

MEET THE NETBALL AMERICA TEAM—ADVISORY PANEL DR. JAYNE GREENBERG, District Director of Physical Education & Health Literacy, Miami Dade County Public Schools

Dr. Jayne has recently been appointed to the Institute of Medicine committee and is also a member of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition. She has been recognized for developing one of the best physical education programs in the United States and Miami-Dade County Public Schools was recently recognized as a best practice case study in the Nike Designed to Move Report. Previously Dr. Jayne served as Special Advisor on Youth Fitness to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports and as President of the Florida Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Dance, and Driver Education. Dr. Jayne assisted the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in developing the “I Can Do It, You Can Do It Program,” addressing physical activity for youth with disabilities.

WAISALE SEREVI, The King of Known the world round as The King of Sevens, Waisale Serevi hardly needs introduction! His blend of power, speed and spatial awareness lifted him from humble roots to the fore of Fijian rugby over a career that spanned two decades. Since making his 1989 debut in the Hong Kong 7's, Serevi has captivated the world with his skills, balance and staggering pace, including 7 appearances and 2 Rugby World Cup 7's Championships. As a global ambassador for the game, Serevi has served as player, captain and coach on five continents. He was instrumental in working with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to return rugby to the - and on October 7, 2009, the IOC voted to include Rugby 7's in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

BRIAN ANDERSON, World Series Champion, Major League BaseballTM Brian is an American professional player who was drafted in the first round (15th overall) of the 2003 Major League Baseball draft. The former University of Arizona all-star won a World Series title as an outfielder for the White Sox in 2005. He was also an outfielder for the Boston Red Sox. Brian's passion for pitching has led him to signing with Kansas City Royals, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, and most recently the Colordao Rockies in 2012.

JULIE PRENTICE, Managing Director and Co-Founder, Serevi Rugby Julie's background is not-for-profits however her passion is to grow Rugby in a meaningful way across the USA. In late autumn of 2010, four entrepreneurs, including Julie did what entrepreneurs do: they took a leap of faith and started a business with two arms: 1) on-field rugby development through the youth to elite spec- trum; and 2) a line of casual and performance rugby apparel. There appears to be fantastic pent-up demand for high quality rugby instruction at all levels.

VICKI WILSON OAM, Assistant Coach, New Zealand Silver Ferns and Former Australian Netball Captain, 104 Test Caps Regarded as the world's best shooter of her time, Vicki represented Australia for 15 yrs from 1985 and captained Australia from 96 - 99 when she retired on a winning note, after leading Australia to a one-point win in the World Championship Final. Vicki led Australia to the first ever netball goal medal at the 1998 . Vicki received the Order of Australia Medal in 1992. In 2001, she was inducted into the Australian Institute of Sport 'Best of the Best', then inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame. She is Principal Advisor with the Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing and has just been named as the Assistant Coach to the World #1 Ranked Netball Team—the New Zealand Silver Ferns. MICHAEL JOHNS, Singer/Songwriter, American Idol Finalist Michael sent American Idol fans into a frenzy by making it through to Season 7 American Idol finals and then touring to sold out audiences across the USA. He has performed for Muhammad Ali, Richard Branson, Ellen DeGeneres etc and has performed on stage with Bruce Springsteen. His passion is not only for music but for sports. He came to the USA on a tennis scholarship and also played Australian Rules Football for the USAFL.

EUGENIE BUCKLEY, Principal, Suiko Consulting Eugenie's formal legal and financial qualifications provide her with a unique ability to quickly analyze and understand complex issues within the sports and entertainment industries. Her previous roles with Australian , Cricket/Brisbane Heat, , Football Queensland, Brisbane Lions & the Australian Grand Prix Corporation are complemented by current strategic projects with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 & AFC Asian Cup 2015 organizing committees.

Eugenie is the former CEO of Brisbane Roar FC; CEO and Tournament Director of the ICC Women's World Cup, Australia 2009; Senior Counsel, Legal and Business Affairs, International Cricket Council; General Manager, Legal and Business Affairs, Football Federation Australia; Head of Legal and Commercial, Rugby World Cup, Australia 2003 and CEO, Australian Professional Footballer's Association. Eugénie's international portfolios include membership of the International Court of Arbitration for Sport (2000 – 2008), Committee for FIFA World Cup Germany 2006 and Commonwealth Games Melbourne 2006. She is a FIFA and AFC Match Commissioner and sat on the AFC Legal Committee and Disciplinary Review. Eugenie is a Senior Fellow and lecturer in Event Management Law and Sports Marketing Law at the University of Melbourne and is the author of Sports Law: Name and Image.

SAM BRAMHAM OAM, Paralympian Swimmer, Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist Sam is an Australian Paralympic swimmer and competed at the 2004 Athens Summer Paralympics and 2008 Beijing Summer Paralympics. Between those two games, he won two gold medals, two silver medals and a bronze medal and he broke a world record in Athens for the 100m butterfly event. In 2006, Sam set a world record at the World Swimming Championships in Berlin, Germany. In 2009, Sam received the Medal of the Order of Australia. Sam is a Manager with Disability Sport and Recreation and he is overseeing the WheelTalk School Awareness Program. This program visits thousands of students each year to raise disability awareness and promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

Matt Hawkins, USA Rugby 7's Captain and California Serevi Director Matt captained the Sevens Team in 2009/2010 season and 2010/2011 season and was recently given the prestigious honor of most capped Sevens Eagle of all time. In 2010 Matt was selected to the USA 15's Churchill Cup squad and won his first cap against Russia. Matt is a coach at Serevi Rugby and has devoted his time outside of playing rugby to the development of rugby with in the US and is dedicated to developing tal- ent at the youth rugby level and Collegiate level in America.
