Sacyr Renews Its Commitment As the Sponsor of the Liga Sacyr Asobal for the 2020/2021 Season PRESS RELEASE SACYR RENEWS ITS COMMITMENT AS THE SPONSOR OF THE LIGA SACYR ASOBAL FOR THE 2020/2021 SEASON Madrid, July 20, 2020: Sacyr renews its commitment to Spanish handball and will once again sponsor the Liga ASOBAL for the 2020/2021 season, which has been called the Liga Sacyr ASOBAL since the second half of last season. The sponsorship agreement signed in February 2020 includes the use of Sacyr's name for all the competitions organized by ASOBAL: Liga, Copa, Supercopa and Minicopa. The Liga Sacyr ASOBAL logo is used in all of the brand's advertising material and promotions and it features in the matches broadcast by GOL. The aim of the partnership is to extend the reach of the Spanish league and the sport itself, which has around 100,000 registered players and is a key part of society in many cities. The first title up for grabs in the 2020/2021 season is the Supercopa Sacyr ASOBAL, where the reigning champions of the league, Barça, will face the runners-up of the Copa del Rey, BM Benidorm, on August 29. The first match day of the Liga Sacyr ASOBAL will be held on September 2. Sacyr will also lend its name to the Copa Sacyr ASOBAL, which will be played between the top four teams from the first half of the Liga Sacyr ASOBAL season. The Chairman and CEO of Sacyr, Manuel Manrique, stressed that now is the time to join forces to promote the new Liga Sacyr ASOBAL season, after last season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. ASOBAL President Adolfo Aragonés reiterated his thanks to Sacyr for continuing to believe in the ASOBAL project: "We know that this is not an easy time for companies, and that is why we want to highlight how crucially important it is for our clubs to have the support and commitment of a multinational like Sacyr. We are sure that fans are looking forward to once again filling the arenas to enjoy, as always, all the emotions of the Liga Sacyr ASOBAL." Greater commitment For Sacyr, being the league's sponsor is an opportunity to strengthen its commitment to a sport that it has been linked with since 2015. In recent years, the multinational sponsored the Spanish Royal Handball Federation. During this period, the Spanish National Handball team (otherwise known as Los Hispanos), which is made up of players from the Liga Sacyr ASOBAL, has achieved great success, bringing home two Gold medals from the last two European Championships (Zagreb 2018 and Stockholm 2020). The women's national team, Las Guerreras, have also achieved some significant results, having reached the final of the 2019 World Championship in Japan. For the Asociación de Clubes Españoles de Balonmano (Spanish Handball Association), it is excellent news that Sacyr is renewing its commitment to ASOBAL handball at such a delicate moment economically. With last season having been cut short by the global health crisis, the Liga Sacyr ASOBAL will be expanded for the 2020/2021 season. ASOBAL will now have 18 clubs but will keep the same competition format, with each team playing each other twice throughout the season, meaning 34 match days of guaranteed entertainment. During the 2019/2020 season, ASOBAL handball fans were able to enjoy a total of 80 televised matches on the LaLigaSportsTV app: 69 Liga Sacyr ASOBAL matches, 7 Copa del Rey matches, 3 Copa ASOBAL matches and 1 Supercopa ASOBAL match.     La temporada 2014/15 Al igual que la temporada anterior, en esta quinta temporada consecutiva en la Liga Asobal el objetivo era mantener la categoría. También, como en temporadas anteriores la salida de jugadores importantes de la plantilla, (Michael Apelgren, Carlos Grau y Darko Dimitrievski) hacia que se tuviera que fichar nuevos jugadores, el cambio de distintos jugadores en la plantilla, añade la dificultad de que tenga que pasar un tiempo de adaptación para conjuntarse el equipo y por tanto que en los primeros partidos de liga, el equipo no esté todavía bien conjuntado y de ese modo, difícil de alcanzar el mayor rendimiento deportivo posible y por tanto obtener victorias y consecuentemente puntos en la clasificación . Para ello, se ficharon a Víctor Álvarez procedente del Grupo Covadonga de Gijón que militaba en la 1ª División Nacional , aunque Víctor es un jugador con una dilatada trayectoria en la Liga Asobal militando en diversos equipos de la misma, su posición más habitual es la de central, así mismo se incorporaron los laterales izquierdos, Rolandas Bernatonis, internacional por Lituania y procedente del Helvetia Anaitasuna, e Ilija Sladic, procedente del Villa de Aranda. Podemos ver el recorte del periódico Superdeporte del 6 de agosto de 2014 donde se recogía el fichaje de los tres jugadores mencionados. Además de estos tres fichajes, iniciada la pretemporada, se incorporo al equipo, Aidenas Malasinskas, internacional lituano, jugador de gran nivel, procedente del Naturhouse La Rioja y que al final de la temporada seria decisivo con sus goles, 177 goles, tercer máximo goleador de la Liga Asobal, para a portar al equipo y facilitar el con ello, junto al resto del equipo alcanzar el objetivo de la temporada, esto es, el mantenimiento de la categoría por quinta temporada consecutiva.

Mezi brankaři a spojkami byly zásadní rozdíly pouze v množství tělesného tuku, kterého měli spojky o 1,8 % méně. Dále bylo zjištěno, že v soutěžích na vyšší úrovni hrají průměrně starší, vyšší a těžší hráči s větším množství svalovém hmoty. EQUIPACION: CAMISETA AMARILLA (AZUL) PANTALON AZUL (AZUL) El Club Deportivo Bidasoa nació en 1962, como fruto de la afición al balonmano existente desde siempre en nuestra ciudad. En la temporada 70-71 el club asciende a la máxima categoría. Categoría que mantuvo hasta su descenso en la temporada 75-76, en su debe un quinto puesto en la temporada 73-74. Una temporada se tardo en regresar a la elite y desde entonces el club se ha mantenido siempre en la máxima categoría hasta la pasada temporada. La llegada de Elgorriaga como patrocinador en la temporada 83-84 junto con el posterior abandono del mítico frontón Uranzu por Artaleku, marcó el inicio de una época dorada en el club: 1 Copa de Europa (94- 95), 2 Ligas (86-87 y 94-95), 1 Recopa Europa (96-97), 2 Copas Rey (90-91 y 95-96) y 1 Copa Asobal (92-93). Una década de éxitos. En la temporada 86-87, el club lograra el campeonato de liga. Por aquel entonces la plantilla la componían 11 jugadores de Irun: Zúñiga, Munduate, Luís Pablo, Beldarrain, Salcedo, Mendibil, Burguete, Pombar, Txuma Hernández, Susperregui y Lukas, Juanin de Pasaia y un par de yugoslavos: Lakovic y Grubic. En las siguientes temporadas se perdió la final de la Copa del Rey en 87-88 y 89-90 pero fue en la temporada 90-91 cuando se alcanzó por fin, este titulo contra el AT Madrid en Alcira.
