The narrative also deals in some degree with the history of Clan Donald and has been compiled from written records and traditions of the family which have been handed down through many generations and which have, as far as possible, been checked with Parish records of Inverkeithny, the history of Clan Donald, the Clans, Septs and Regiments of the Scottish Highlands, the House of Alexander, the Scottish Clans and their tartans, and other works on the history of the Highlands of Scotland. Additional searches have been made in the Mormon Church Library, graveyard records of Banffshire, Scotland1 and other records that Michael Outram has collected through difference genealogical societies in the United States, England and Scotland. A description of the arms and crest of the head of the family of Alexander of Auchininna is as follows: "Parted per pale Argent and Gules, a Chevron counterchanged, on a Canton Azure interchanged, on a Canton Azure a galley sail furled of the first. Crest a dexter arm embowed vambraced holding a sword all proper, hilted and pomelled Or. Motto, Per mare per terras." The above description applies to the arms of the head of the family only, a sketch of which is given on a separate page of this book (missing).

This report aims to highlight emerging issues in your area, and to provide crime prevention advice and guidance to Community Council members and residents you represent. Our focus is to reduce crime and disorder, help create safer communities and respond effectively to local concerns. Community Policing Priorities - Antisocial behaviour, Violence and Disorder - Acquisitive Crime - Road Safety & Road Crime In an attempt to move away from the more statistical based report we have previously provided, we have chosen to provide a more generalised view on crime in the area, but highlight specific incidents which have had a significant impact on the community as a whole. Compared with the previous 2 months we have seen: - an overall reduction in violent crime and anti-social behaviour. - an increase in the number of report drugs cases. This is believed to be in direct correlation with the increase in pro-active patrols in the area which has increased the number of stops and searches being carried out.

    Aberdeenshire Local Development Plan 2013 Development Plan Scheme 1 Introduction In 2012 Aberdeenshire Council adopted the first Aberdeenshire Local Development Plan. This Development Plan Scheme sets out what our programme is for the preparation of the next Local Development Plan and associated Supplementary Guidance, and how and when businesses, landowners and communities can become involved in their preparation. The process of developing the Local Development Plan is one that takes several years and involves stages associated with: • the publication of a Main Issues Report, an opportunity to consider future options; • a Proposed Plan that builds on this and sets out Aberdeenshire Council’s settled view of where and when development should take place; • an examination into representations made to that plan; and finally • adoption of the plan itself.
