However, Purchasers should be aware that an accurate Vendor declaration cannot absolutely guarantee that any animal or progeny from any animal is free from BVD or is not a persistently infected (“PI”) animal. Auctioneers cannot accept any responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any Vendor declarations and no warranties or guarantees whatsoever are given by the Auctioneers. All cattle not in either of the categories BVD Category 3 above (including from ‘not-negative’ Risk unknown BVD Status Unknown herds) Please note, pregnant animals are always a greater risk and therefore cannot be assigned as Category 1, very low risk.
