Among the club’s activities throughout the year, besides car shows and social activities, is community service. One annual event is to take part in the Bethlehem Memorial Day Parade. Following the parade, some members caravan to two Gold Star families to let them know that their sons have not been forgotten. The Allentown Area Corvette Club remembered Capt. Christopher Seifert and Lance Cpl. Joshua Klinger again this year, with American flags placed throughout their memorial gardens that have been donated by Lowe’s in Easton. It is with great pride that we honor those who have helped to protect our country with the ultimate sacrifice. Valerie Ferguson (Williams Township) Recap: Springfest 2019 Sat., Jun. 01 | David Hausman, Joe and Denise Iervolino, along with their army of volunteers broke from tradition with a new Springfest. The new venue and day proved successful with 212 Corvettes (including 77 day‐of‐show entrants) on the campus of Penn State Lehigh Valley. Waves of AACC members performed concours judging of our “guests’ Cor‐ vettes” while the guests used a popular vote for our club cars. CJ’s Auto worked with Michelin Tires to fly in a tire engineer and marketing team from Michigan. They gave a nice pres‐ entation of Michelin’s technology, discussed Corvette‐specific information, and answered questions from the many attendees. The Tricky Tray auctions were again a big hit and took up most of the lobby area. Congratulations to David, Joe, Denise, and the countless AACC members who pulled together to make the day one for the record books!
